PURPOSE: Assist in the design, contracting, installation and maintenance of various types of graphics and signage throughout the University of Texas at Arlington facilities.Provides interior and exterior signs that comprise the signage and directional system throughout all UTA facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Make repairs and revisions to sign elements. Replaces worn or outdated signs as directed. Create signage in response to UTA customers. Operate PC based sign making programs and sign making machinery. Install signage according to verbal instructions and in compliance with University and Federal guidelines. Must be able to operate University vehicles in and around campus. Operate power tools and hand tools. Work requires ability to read, write and perform simple arithmetic.Perform related and other duties as required

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: High school graduation or 3 years experience.Associate degree in graphics Design.
