PURPOSE: This position provides journey-level skills performing maintenance and repair of heating and power plant equipment, central chilling station equipment, building mechanical equipment, and swimming pool and fountain equipment. Responsibilities include the mechanical maintenance and repair of boilers, turbo generators, condensers, pumps, compressors, chemical feeders, filters, meters, and related equipment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs a combination, but not necessarily all, of the following duties: Lubricate and replace motor and fan bearings. Repair housekeeping equipment, clocks and electric tools. Check motor loads and record minor currents and voltages. Maintains and repairs work covering motor repair and maintenance. Repairs and maintains electric motor operated equipment. Performs scheduled preventive maintenance on all electrical and mechanical equipment, which is part of the facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
