PURPOSE: To provide responsible and highly skilled management in directing all facets of a retail store operation. Responsible for the daily operation of a retail area including personnel management, marketing, budgetary controls, inventory controls, customer services and any other requirements which may impact store operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Accomplish all personnel management actions necessary to ensure the general store staff is hired, trained, scheduled and will provide quality customer services. Determines and purchases appropriate types/categories of marketable items and ensures inventory levels support merchandising efforts. Maintain an effective positive customer service environment. Resolves customer problems, consider all suggestions and implement changes as necessary. Ensures budget and inventory levels are maintained. Orders merchandise and oversees physical inventory.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: High school graduation or equivalent. Two years of college with courses in business management or marketing.
