PURPOSE: To provide supervisory skills for Transportation Services of the UT Arlington Police Department including shuttle bus operations and security escort services. This position is responsible for planning and supervising the work of employees performing various service activities. Responsible for planning and supervising the work of semi-skilled and unskilled employees performing various service activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains a preventive maintenance program for shuttle buses and carts; schedules bus and cart repairs as needed; prepares various reports as needed; processes special transportation requests and submits billing; plans and updates bus routes and schedules as needed; instructs employees on job related duties; responsible for training, counseling, and performance evaluations of direct reports; maintains work schedules and employee time cards; fills in as operator of buses and carts as needed; interviews and hires applicants; and performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: High school graduation. Must have a valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
