PURPOSE: To provide the skills to prepare, select, classify, and evaluate audio-visual teaching materials. Responsible for promoting, arranging, and conducting training programs and for assisting in the design and preparation of audio-visual teaching materials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, organizes, conducts, and participates in meetings concerning the application and utilization of audio-visual methods, materials, and devices. Advises and assists in the selection, production, and supplying of audio-visual materials. Produces or directs the production of audio-visual materials. Develops photographic materials for classroom instructors and for recruiting activities. Controls distribution of media materials. Performs related duties as required. Selects and purchases equipment and supplies.

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Completion of two years of college, including courses in audio-visual education.
