PURPOSE: To provide supervision directing the operation of one or more Copy Centers and to coordinate printing requests from various departments within the institution. Responsible for the planning and scheduling of work requests, selection and training of personnel, and maintenance of administrative records.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, schedules and supervises all activities involved in the operation of the one or more copy center. Supervises the work of clerical and skilled operators in the accomplishment of varied duplicating tasks. Estimates individual job costs. Keeps daily, weekly and monthly records of work orders for billing purposes. Provides financial and production reports to the Director of Printing and Publications. Controls inventory levels by requisitioning materials, supplies and equipment, including opening bids for large paper purchases. When necessary provides relief to production personnel. Responsible for selecting and training of staff. Performs related duties as required.
