PURPOSE: To provide advanced technical skills in the photography of general, medical, and/or scientific phenomena and subjects. Responsible for employing a wide variety of photographic technical and methods in the preparation of photographic materials for clinical, teaching, and research activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Photographs a wide variety of subjects and materials using variations of black and white and color film. Maintains current photographs and negative files. Processes film, papers, plates, and filmstrips. Responsible for inventory control of photographic supplies. Makes estimates of time and materials needed to produce prints, slides, and other photographic materials. Operates various types of cameras. Performs related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: High school graduation supplemented by specialized training in photography.
