PURPOSE: To provide a comprehensive advertising and marketing program for The Shorthorn student newspaper and other Department of Student Publications projects. Responsible for the sales, ad design and promotional operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Recruit, train, advise and supervise student sales, advertising design and marketing staffs; develop and update account and prospect lists; develop and implement annual advertising sales, marketing and revenue plans; develop and service major display, house and national accounts; check and proofread all display ads; handle customer inquiries and complaints; and coordinate professional advertising staff.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, journalism or related field. Bachelor's degree in other fields will be considered if combined with substantial professional experience relevant to position.
