PURPOSE: To provide supervisory and technical skills to operate and maintain television facilities and assist in the production of television programs. Responsible for assisting and supervising employees in the operation and maintenance of equipment, and for maintaining, operating, and production schedules in the transmission, broadcast, and production of programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and assists in the installation, maintenance, and repairs of television receivers, cameras, camera controls, videotape recorders, and audio amplifiers and associated equipment. Performs related duties as required.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: High school graduation and two years of technical courses in electronics. Must have a Radio-Television First Class Operator's License issued by the Federal Communications Commission.
