maximum 43,800.00

PURPOSE: To provide support in ensuring accuracy and compliance with University and Federal guidelines. Responsible for reviewing departmental accounting or paperwork for compliance and accuracy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducts on-site departmental reviews. Audits the accounting and paperwork of various departments within the University to ensure accuracy and compliance with University, State, and Federal laws and guidelines. Identifies improper accounting or documentation and researches issues. Makes recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly. Maintains informational databases and generates reports. Provides assistance and training to departments. Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / COMPETENCIES-OTHER: REQUIRED EXPERIENCES/COMPETENCIES: Two years of related experience. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Standard office equipment. Usual working conditions. Specific job requirements or physical location of some positions allocated to this classification, may render the position security sensitive; thereby subject to the provisions of Section 51.215 Texas Education Code.
