PURPOSE: To provide professional administrative and coordination skills in the coordination of all phases and activities of a program, department or unit. Responsible for assisting the Manager or Director with supervision, planning and coordination; and administration of special programs of a program, department, or unit.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and coordinates programs, policies and diagnostic procedures of a program, department, or unit. Provides administrative assistance to ensure attainment of program objectives. Informs appropriate administrative and management personnel regarding program operations. Interacts with university departments, special groups and external agencies in administering programs. May supervise assigned professional and clerical staff and/ or volunteer workers. Performs related duties as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree in a field related to the department or program being supported.
