PURPOSE: To process gifts and pledges, maintain accurate alumni and donor records, and provide support for the stewardship program. Responsible for providing development support in the areas of gift processing and donor records.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Interprets and enters gift data, verifies input for accuracy and retrieves information upon request. Updates and corrects donor records, keys special projects. Monitors data-entry of others for accuracy. Performs related clerical or process functions as needed. Composes routine correspondence. Coordinates with other department personnel on gift and record-keeping questions. Responsible for proper handling of all gift-types including cash according to university regulations. Responsible for maintaining records of all gifts and pledges to the university, including database records and hard copy files. Acknowledges receipt of all gifts to the donor. Processes payroll deduction gifts, prepares database records and coordinates funds transfer from holding to the specific end-user accounts with OABS. Performs related duties as assigned.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: High School graduation or GED. Bachelor's degree in related field.
