PURPOSE: To manage and determine overall strategy and operation of the annual direct mail and telephone solicitation campaign. To obtain annual support of alumni, parents and friend of the University. Responsible for management of annual fund campaign, supervision recruitment hiring, and training of telemarketers. Identify potential major donor prospects for further cultivation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Formulates strategies for accomplishing the objectives of the annual direct mail and telephone fundraising campaign. Determines fundraising projections for each target constituency and develops a reliable system to ensure that pledges are fulfilled. Recruits and interviews approximately 500 students per campaign in order to hire and retain approximately 35-40 student workers at all times. Supervises and trains student telemarketers. Runs approximately 65-70 telemarketing sessions per campaign. Supervises Development Assistant in all responsibilities, including daily statistical reports, preparation and submission of payroll, and monitoring of inventory and budget expenditures.
