PURPOSE: To perform specialized duties in one or more of the major functional areas of personnel administration of the personnel office and to establish and to maintain effective working relationships with various operation units. Responsible for the effective handling of a wide variety of complex duties assigned within the broad area of personnel administration which involves frequent personal contact with all levels of administrative officials.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs specialized duties requiring advanced personnel skills and techniques in compensation, employment, records and/or benefits sections of the personnel department. Reviews personnel actions taken by campus departments for compliance with established produces or the personnel program. Answers non-routine requests for information of policy interpretation. assist in handling of employee relations' matters such as grievances, exit interviews, disciplinary matters in accordance with prescribed guidelines. Assigned special projects. Compiles statistical tabulations and graphs, using various sources of information. May assist in planning and research functions. Assists in varied departmental activities.
