PURPOSE: To manage, coordinate and supervise equipment, personnel and the productfon processes involved in user services. Responsible for the design of operational procedures for the implementation and maintenance of user services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops and sustains operational procedures and standards. Settles scheduling and usage conflicts. Designs and supervises the relationship between computer operation processes and users. Evaluates and maintains standards for operations personnel. Coordinates activities of operations section with system section, and supervises their completion. Maintain inventory control. Formulates specifications of non-routine work orders and requisitions and supervises their completion. Responsible for disaster recovery duties as outlined in department's recovery manual. Performs related duties as required. Evaluates and recommends new equipment end auxiliary devices. Directs new product quality evaluation procedures. Performs various duties in the area of disaster recovery testing and planning.

REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: Bachelor's degree in appropriate field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
