PURPOSE: This position will provide both technical and administrative direction in the coordination and overall management of resources supporting one or more aspects of computing resources. Responsible for prompt accurate performance in planning and supervise the operation of information systems activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Plans, organizes and schedules computing support projects and assigns these tasks to appropriate personnel. Implements and service programs for end-user computing. Endow technical consultation to users of system hardware and software required by the installation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the systems and ensuring optimal utilization of the system resources. Designs, analyzes and tests programs. Analyzes and evaluates research related to end-user computing products and the marketplace. Provides training and instruction to users and staff regarding application of programs. Provide and assure accurate and timely computer processing production for the division. Performs related duties as required.
