PURPOSE: To provide the entry-level technical skills required for the installation and operation of digital network communication equipment. Responsible for installing and maintaining network communication equipment necessary for terminals, workstations, personal computers, and mainframe computers to effectively communicate over a computer network.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Fabrication and installation of network transceiver cables, thinnet trunk line segments, and cabling necessary to connect mainframe communication devices. Configure communication hardware or software parameters in order to insure for effective communication.

REQUIRED EDUCATION: $education
REQUIRED EDUCATION-OTHER: One year completed courses towards bachelor's degree in engineering, physic or related field.
