PURPOSE: To provide the technical experience and necessary supervisory skills required to facilitate the transition of work from system analyst to programmers. Responsible for complex technical analysis in a variety of systems-to-programming areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Directs, and assists in. the work of Programmer Analysts in expanding block diagrams from Systems Analysts to a more detailed level for use by Programmers. Researches and defines advanced mathematical techniques to be used in programs. Consults with Systems Analysts on highly complicated problems associated with advanced programming techniques to allow full utilization of medium and large computer systems. Performs related duties as required. Prepares reports. Consults with personnel from departments requesting data analysis. Develops diagrams of complex and sophisticated logic.
