PURPOSE: To provide management, training and support to the Business Affairs Office with the maintenance and updates of operational procedures, forms, handbook of operating procedures (HOP) and records information management for various departments within Finance and Administration, Human Resources and other departments within UT Arlington.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support, advise and inform offices engaged in creating or updating procedures, forms and the HOP and the proper maintenance and updates. Provide training in the proper implementation of records information management for the entire university. Review and maintain processes, and provide assistance with the drafting and editing of UT Arlington procedures, forms and the HOP. Review and assign work to lower level Policy Specialists. Create and maintain procedures for writing procedures and procedure exhibits. Create and maintain disposition tables for all procedures, forms and HOP. Create and maintain procedures and training programs for the university's records information management system. Execute procedure test plans, track records and analyze data regarding the procedure library activities. Respond to inquires and requests for assistance and provide customer service and support when requested. Coordinate and support activities of procedure review groups. Provide administrative support to the departments regarding the HOP, forms and records information management.
