Tenure-Track Position in Finance

The Department of Finance and Real Estate at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank. The position, which is contingent on budgetary approval, will be effective fall 2012. The minimum qualifications for this position are a Ph.D. in Finance or a related field (including Economics) subject to evidence of teaching and research in finance. Commitment to high quality research and teaching is required.

The University of Texas at Arlington is centrally located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Its urban location offers many opportunities for dual career families. The University\'s more than 33,000 students pursue almost 190 bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in an extensive range of disciplines. The College of Business offers Ph.D., MBA, MS, and undergraduate programs. The Department of Finance and Real Estate has an active Ph.D. program and faculty members regularly collaborate with doctoral students on research projects. The department also offers MS in Quantitative Finance and MS in Real Estate programs. Research is strongly supported and encouraged. Salary and teaching load are competitive.
