Position/Job Description:

The Department of Art + Art History at the University of Texas at Arlington, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, seeks applicants for a Full-Time, non-tenure-track Lecturer.

The successful candidate will hold a Masters Degree of Fine Arts in Art and will teach undergraduate courses related to Image creation and manipulation with both pixel and vector based graphics and time-based media. Specifically a working knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere are required. This hire will work within a pre-established curriculum for the course in order to meet Foundation Program core requirements. Candidate must be able to support conceptual development of students, teach fundamental principles of art and design, and provide students with technical (software) support throughout the semester.
