The Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Science Education to begin in August, 2013.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Science Education or a related field. U.S. teacher certification and three years of successful public school teaching experience are also required, preferably in the middle and/or high school grades.
Preferred Qualifications: Excellence in teaching, supervisory experience, and interest in engaging in science education research. Candidates must also possess a commitment to inquiry-based/project-based teaching and learning, and field-based teacher preparation.
