Join us for UT System Founders Day 2014!

UT Arlington

When: Friday, November 14th 11:30am - 1:00pm

Where: University Center Palo Duro Lounge

The University of Texas System Founders Day

The University of Texas System (UT System) Founders Day was developed by the UT System EAC and endorsed by the UT System Board of Regents in November 2013. In hopes of recognizing the founding date of UT System the date chosen for celebration is the second Friday of November each year. Although we are 15 individual campuses with approximately 90,000 faculty and staff, and 216,000 students, we are all one family under The University of Texas System. The hope is to have one day to represent our family, our unity, and our pride in being a part of UT System.

About The Event

Join us Friday November 14th for the Second Annual UT System Day. It is a day to celebrate being part of the UT System: “Nine Universities. Six Health Institutions. Unlimited Possibilities.”

Burgers will be availible for $1.00!

We will be set up in the University Center Palo Duro Lounge, and our table and photo location will be open from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM. We look forward to you dropping by!

This year we are going to take our celebration to the web with the hashtag #ALLUT, joining with our System colleagues across Texas. So come by our table, take a picture or two in our photo location, post them to your favorite social media site, and follow along as others across Texas do the same!

Attire: UT Arlington colors or spirit gear (any UTA t-shirt).

Departments Are Invited!

We gladly welcome any and all Departments who would like to set up with us to join the celebration and to distribute their own promotional materials. We’ll be giving away commemorative cups and popcorn to any staff and faculty who come by to visit us, until we run out! Click here to reserve a table!
