E-Verify Required For All Newly Hired And Rehired Employees Beginning September 1, 2015

Beginning September 1, 2015, the University will required to use the federal electronic employment verification system know as E-Verify for all new hires and rehires.  The E-Verify system compares the information that employees submit on their Form I-9 with records maintained by the federal government.  The E-Verify program has stringent deadlines for processing verifications and penalties for non-compliance.  With this new requirement, Human Resources is making changes to the post-hire processes that involve completion of Form I-9.  Additional information on these important changes are provided below.
