Audrey Sprenger, a sociologist, and
Ashley Vaughan, a documentary photographer and curator, have been collaborating since 2004. They recently curated Wilde, Horses & Cowboys, an 20-piece exhibit of new paintings by Ed Adler for a joint exhibit at the Denver Art Museum and Denver Public Library. Their 2007 cartographic and photographic project At Lilac Evening, Jack Kerouac in Denver was exhibited at the Denver Public Library and they are currently preparing to travel and document the world by sea in the winter and spring of 2010 while working for the University of Virginia's Semester at Sea program, Sprenger as faculty, Vaughan as the Program Photographer. They plan to resume work on their 2007 pedagogical curation project Jack Kerouac's America, 50 Years Old, during the 2011-2012 academic year.
