Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure to announce the 4th International Conference from Nanoparticles and Nanomaterials to Nanodevices and Nanosystems (IC4N). Following three previous successful conferences, this year's IC4N goes to the Island of Corfu (Kerkyra) in the Ionian Sea, one of the most beautiful Greek islands. We are honored and excited to announce that this year's Plenary Lecture will be given by Professor Daniel Shechtman Nobel Laureate in Chemistry 2011. We also plan for a large number of Keynote/Invited lectures by renowned researchers around the globe making IC4N the Nano forum of the highest quality.
As always, the overall goal of this event is to review the current state-of-the-art in nanoscience and nanotechnology, identify challenging and rewarding research directions, provide a stimulating environment for interaction and foster collaboration among international participants. This is a unique opportunity especially for junior researchers for networking with some of the top scientists in the world. We are also pleased to announce that in this year's event we plan for a Technology Transfer Workshop: NanoTechnology: From the Lab to the Marketplace. This is a special event to address nanotechnology transfer into the market place.
We look forward to hosting you in the Island of Corfu.
On behalf of the Organizing Committee.
