Dear Colleagues,

      It is with great pleasure to announce the 3rd International Conference from Nanoparticles and Nanomaterials to Nanodevices and Nanosystems (IC4N). Following the resounding success of the 1st IC4N held in Halkidiki, Greece with the Plenary Lecture by Nobel Laureate Sir Harry Kroto, and 2nd IC4N held in the Island of Rhodes, opened by Michael Grätzel, this year’s IC4N travels to the Island of Crete with magnificent scenery, beaches and thousand years old history of a thriving civilization.  We are pleased to announce that this year's event is co-organized with the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB), Section on Medicines Development.
      The overall goal of this forum is to identify current barriers and rewarding research directions, provide a stimulating environment for interaction and foster collaboration among international participants in an effort to effectively address global problems in energy, environment, and human health.
      We look forward to hosting you in the Island of Crete.
