Dear Participant,

Submit Abstract

Please follow the example abstract format in the Abstract Template for the 5th IC4N 2016 (June 26-30, Porto Cheli, Greece) and submit it electronically in the conference Website. A contact email and phone number is required; however, the phone number will not be published.

Deadline for abstract submission is April 8, 2016.

The content of the contributed abstracts will be the basis for presentation acceptance at the IC4N 2016. Members of the Advisory Boards will review each abstract and decide on their acceptance. Accepted abstracts will be selected for either oral or poster presentation. Please keep in mind that in view of the large number of invited talks, most of the contributed abstracts will be presented as poster papers.

Given the very broad thematic scope of IC4N and the limited session time for oral presentations, authors are advised that for the oral slots preference will be given to radically novel, breakthrough research presentations that are likely to inspire and catalyze new research themes, impacting non-traditional and broad communities.

Please note that at least one author from each accepted abstract must be registered for the abstract to be published in the proceedings.

Notification of Acceptance will be by April 15, 2016.

Ample time is provided for the poster sessions so participants can discuss their papers in detail. Poster dimensions should be at a max 120 cm in height x 80 cm in width.

The best student poster paper award is sponsored by the Electrochemical Society and will be awarded at the Conference Gala (Wednesday, June 29, 2016).

The Best Student Poster Paper Award (the first author must be a student) sponsored by ECS. This student winner will receive:

  • One year of ECS student membership
  • Registration waiver to the next ECS Meeting in spring of 2017
  • $1,000 Travel Grant to attend the next ECS Meeting.
Papers can be submitted for consideration for publication after peer-review in one of the following journals depending on the subject:

Manuscripts (typically 4-10 journal pages long) should be submitted in MS Word format by August 31, 2016.
