NSF Graduate Student Poster Competition
(open only to graduate students in US Universities)

Dear Graduate Student,
I would like to encourage you to submit an Abstract for the Graduate Student Poster Paper Competition for the NSF NanoTech Workshop being held at the 3rd IC4N (International Conference from Nanoparticles and Nanomaterials to Nanodevices and Nanosystems) in Crete, Greece (www.uta.edu/ic4n/). This can be a great opportunity to share your research, be exposed to an interdisciplinary international environment and to mingle with some of the best researchers in the world. A Scientific Committee will evaluate all submitted abstracts and the selected winners will receive:

  • $800 travel allowance
  • Conference Registration
  • Free boarding (in a double room at the Rodos Resort 5* Hotel)

All graduate student posters presented at the conference (including NSF competition winners) will be eligible to win the Best Poster Paper Award, which is sponsored by the Electrochemical Society (ECS).  This winner will receive:

  • One year of ECS student membership
  • Registration waiver to the 217th ECS Meeting, Apr. 25-30, 2010 in Vancouver, Canada
  • $1,000 travel grant to attend the 217th ECS Meeting
