Undergraduate Admissions Requirements
Applicants to UT Arlington must have graduated from an accredited high school. Freshman applicants for admission must take the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) or the American College Test (ACT).For detailed Admissions Requirements:
- Freshman Students
- Transfer Students
- Transient Students
- A student may not enroll as a transient student for 2 consecutive semesters
- International Students
- Former Students
- Former students are defined as a student who has attended UT Arlington previously, but has not been enrolled for one calendar year. These students must reapply for admission by submitting an application for admission and application fee to the Office of Admissions, Records and Registration.
- Continuing students are defined as those students who have been officially enrolled at UT Arlington during the calendar year and are in good academic standing. Continuing students do not need to reapply for admission. They should meet with their academic advisor prior to registration.
Graduate Admissions Requirements
Applicants for a Master's or a Doctorate degree who meet the admissions requirement for their respective programs may be admitted unconditionally, on a probationary basis, or provisionally.A summary of the admission requirements for each Graduate Program is provided in the links below:
