The University of Texas at Arlington’s RFID and Auto-ID Deployment Lab is located in room 417 in Woolf Hall. It is a deployment and commercialization lab for the study of today and tomorrow's RFID, Auto-ID and wireless technologies. Its objectives are to provide hands on, active learning experiences and to increase industry research funding through proof of principle, ROI studies, and process modeling for specific industry applications. The lab can do on-site proof of principle testing and is available to individual companies for sponsored company-specific projects. The Deployment Lab is part of the Texas RF Innovation and Development Center. |

EquipmentThe lab is equipped with advanced RF equipment such as Symbol’s MC 9000, enterprise-class multi-protocol RFID readers and DC600 Portal systems with XR400 readers, Fox’s DS3408, optical one-dimensional and two-dimensional bar codes scanner, and Handheld’s QCOLV-SV100 Verifier and QC600 Bar Code Verifier. Software includes ecpSolutions, Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) and Loftware. |
