The IMSE Department will be offering a new course in the Spring semester:

IE 5300 - Topics in IE: RFID Systems in the Supply Chain

New Course Description: This course covers the foundations of Radio Frequency Identification Systems. Including the fundamentals of how RFID components of tag, transponder and antennae are utilized to create RFID systems. This course also includes best practices for implementation RFID systems in common supply chain operations.

This course will be taught by our newest faculty member, Dr. Erick Jones, who will be joining our department in Spring 2011. For more information about this course, please speak to your advisor.
