INTS Course Descriptions
INTS 2301--INTS Perspectives
This introduction course introduces fundamental interdisciplinary concepts and techniques.  The relationship between interdisciplinarity and the disciplines, and the potential power of the interdisciplinary process are established. The idea of integration is introduced with the goal of gaining a more comprehensive understanding of real world issues and solving complex problems.
INTS 4301--INTS Process
This intermediate course examines interdisciplinary theory with specific emphasis on the process of disciplinary integration.  As the end of the course, students will develop individualized research proposals for their senior capstone essay.  Prerequisite:  INTS 2301
INTS 4391--INTS Capstone
As the final course in the interdisciplinary studies sequence, the senior capstone research paper requires students to demonstrate mastery of the interdisciplinary process by applying it to a complex issue related to the student’s stated career/academic goal and  Area of Concentration
Prerequisite:  INTS 2301 and  4301
