Transferring to INTS at UT Arlington

Q: What is the Texas Two-Step program?

ANS: The state-wide Texas TWO-STEP program is for students with technical hours in two-year community programs.  Students can transfer their credits, including their technical credits to UTA and other participating universities.

As the founding member of the TWO-STEP Program, UTA, through its Interdisciplinary Studies Program and the College of Science, welcomes students wanting to work towards their Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.  The Interdisciplinary Studies Program and the College of Science will accept up to 24 credit hours of courses that are classified as “technical” by the community college.

The Interdisciplinary Studies Program will apply these credits to satisfy requirements for either the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies or Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.

The College of Science offers degrees in biology chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics and psychology.

Q: What are the UT Arlington equivalents to the courses I took at my community college?

ANS: See the appropriate equivalency guide HERE.
