The Student of the Year award is the highest honor granted by the Interdisciplinary Studies Program. The criteria for this award include the following:
- grade point average achieved thus far at UTA
- the student’s Area of Concentration (the number of upper level courses and performance in these courses)
- performance in INTS courses
- UTA or community involvement
- leadership ability
- ability to successfully meet life challenges
Each of nominees was asked to submit a brief summary on your community service and leadership ability that also included any challenging life situation(s) encountered while at UTA. |
