Sam Stigall

Director of Reports 


Sam has over 30 years of higher education research experience. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at Arlington. Sam is the Reporting Official for UT Arlington and is responsible for State and Federal Reports.  In addition to working as Director of Reports in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Reporting, Sam taught courses in computer applications, research methods and social statistics in the Department of Sociology. In 1990 he received the Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award for the Sigma Nu Fraternity and in 2001 received the UTA Outstanding Employee Award. He has also served as advisor to the Pakistan Students Association.  He is an active member in The Association for Institutional Research (AIR), The Rocky Mountain Association of Institutional Research (RMAIR) and  the Texas Association for Institutional Research (TAIR).
