Pam Haws is Associate Vice President and Director of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness at UT Arlington. She earned her PhD in Experimental Psychology from UT Arlington in 1983. She worked for several years in research, evaluation and assessment in other public institutions and non-profit agencies before returning in 1994 to the university’s newly formed office of Institutional Research and Planning. Her office provides data externally for federal, state and UT System reports, and publishes an extensive Fact Book, departmental profiles and other regular reports to meet the data needs of university administrators. Dr. Haws serves as the university’s accreditation liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and oversees the university’s planning and effectiveness processes. She is a member of the Association for Institutional Research and the affiliated Texas Association for Institutional Research.
