Sam has over 20 years of higher education research experience. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Sociology from The University of Texas at Arlington. In addition to working as Associate Director in the Office of Institutional Research and Planning, Sam teaches courses in computer applications and social statistics in the Department of Sociology. In 1990 he received the Outstanding Faculty Advisor Award for the Sigma Nu Fraternity and in 2001 received the UTA Outstanding Employee Award. He has also served as advisor to the Pakistan Students Association since 1991. He is an active member in The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) and The Texas Association for Institutional Research (TAIR). |
