Contact us about participating in one of programs.
The Center for Healthy Living & Longevity hosts programs designed to improve daily functioning and reduce the occurence of adverse events associated with aging, such as falling.
Do I qualify?
In order to qualify for the intervention program, you need to be 65 years of age or older, have access to regular transportation, be in adequate physical condition to take part in regular physical exercise, and have approval from your physician to participate. Schedule a screening appointment.
What will happen during the screening appointment?
The screening appointment takes approximately 2 hours. You will be asked to answer some questions about yourself, your general health, and questions related to falling and fall risk.
Will the program substitute Occupational/Physical Therapy?
NO. Our goal is to reduce fall risk from a group perspective. Because an individual's fall risk is very unique, individualized therapy is highly recommended.
