Super Service Saturday - Saturday, August 27th!
Join your fellow Mavericks for a morning of volunteering at various locations around Arlington! It's our Fall kick-off event to a year of great community service with the UTA Leadership Center. Let's start the Fall semester in a SUPER way! Morning snack and lunch will be provided. Free T-Shirts while supplies last!!! Register soon, as spots are limited. You must register in order to guarantee a volunteering spot, and receive snack, and a T-shirt; walk-ins on the day of the event will be accommodated only if there are any open spots available.
This program is coordinated by UTA Volunteers, The Big Event, Alternative Breaks, The Leadership Honors Program, Maverick Mentors, and Freshmen Leaders On Campus, and is sponsored by the Leadership Center, in the division of Student Affairs, as part of Maverick Stampede.
PLEASE NOTE: Because this event is for the entire UTA community and space is limited to the first 200 students, each person must sign up individually, not as a group or under one person's name.

Check-in/light breakfast: 7:30am-8am
Depart for volunteering site: 8:15am
Return for lunch: 12:00pm (Palo Duro)

UT Arlington students will volunteer their time at local non-profit agencies, such as: the City of Arlington, Mission Arlington, Boys and Girls Club, UTA Community Garden, Doug Russell Park, Arlington Animal Shelter, O.S. Gray Park, Salvation Army, UTA Compost Pile, Arlington Southeast Branch Library, Arlington East Branch Library, Arlington Police Department, and River Legacy Park.
The Latin American Student Organization regularly participates in Hispanic Heritage Month, Homecoming, Oozeball, and Semana de Cultura.
