About the Pantry

On-campus food pantries are becoming more of a need on campuses across the nation. The UTA Food Pantry provides students with the opportunity to receive a mixture of non-perishable foods to supplement their monthly food costs.

The UTA Volunteers and Tri-C Food Pantry is open for distributions on every other Thursday, from 1:00 P.M-2:30 P.M at the Tri-C Campus Ministries location (across the street from the U.C. Starbucks; address and contact information is below). The Food Pantry is open to any UTA Student, Faculty or Staff member with a UTA I.D.

For students who are struggling with food insecurity on days when the pantry is not open, they may go to the Tri-C to pick up a bag of prepared food.

To donate to the Food Pantry, please contact the Follet Student Leadership Center. The current food items needed for the Food Pantry are below:

  • Boxes of cereal, any kind medium to small sizes
  • Boxes of instant oatmeal 
  • Jars of spaghetti sauce 
  • Packages of pasta 
  • Cans of tuna and or chicken 

Donations can be dropped off at the Follett Student Leadership Center, U.C. Suite 180, 9-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. For questions, please call the Follett Student Leadership Center at (817) 272-9220.

UTA Volunteers will also host Food and Produce Drives throughout the Spring semester in the UC or Library Mall. The dates are as follows:
