"Coming out" in college can be a stressful time for the LGBTQ community, and coming out as an ally is often equally challenging. This inaugural program exemplifies the commitment of UT Arlington to provide a more inclusive and more positive learning environment for all students. Members of the LGBTQA Program are out and proud to be leaders in the Maverick community.
We invite you to connect with other students through the various events hosted by the LGBTQA Program Pride Peers. The Pride Peers, our student programming team, are responsible for the many special activities you will find on campus. Events may include, but are not limited to, Pride Awareness Week, National Observance Days for the LGBTQ community, educational workshops, keynote speakers, gallery exhibits, social mixers, and many more. Join us and participate in this historic opportunity at UT Arlington!
If you have ideas for possible programs, please send your suggestions to lgbtqa@uta.edu.
