The College will conduct commencement in alphabetical order by department. However, Ph.D. and Master Degree recipients will process before undergraduates. There will not be a rehearsal prior to the ceremonies.  Candidates must report to Gate 1 - the west doors of College Park Center (practice gyms) no later than 1:30 p.m. to attend the 3:00 ceremony. Candidates will be grouped in different holding areas by department. At the tables in each holding area, students will pick up a name card, placed in a pre-determined order and given instructions concerning the ceremony.  NO personal items may be left in the gym/waiting area or carried on stage – this includes cell phones, purses, cameras, etc.  We anticipate that the ceremony will last approximately 2 hours.
