Dr. Beth Wright, Dean of Liberal Arts
|
The College of Liberal Arts offers graduate education in our departments of Art & Art History (NASAD-accredited), Communication, Criminology and Criminal Justice, English, History, Linguistics & TESOL, Modern Languages, Music (NASM-accredited), Philosophy & Humanities, Political Science, and Sociology & Anthropology. Working closely with our exceptional faculty, who are internationally renowned for their achievements in scholarship and creative activity, our graduate students are winning national and international recognition for their work. Graduate students have won Fulbright and NSF awards, performed at Carnegie Hall, exhibited their art work internationally. In many, many ways talented, bright, and dedicated students – such as yourself! -- are having an impact in their discipline, their community, and around the world. We are very proud of the achievements of our faculty, students, and alumni.
I invite you to study our websites, our annual report, and our e-newsletters, talk with our graduate advisors, visit our departments and facilities across the UT Arlington campus, and begin to discover the world of opportunities which exist in the College of Liberal Arts.
All best wishes,
Beth S. Wright
