The DFW Metroplex can be very intimidating for new students. This page is a step by step guide of what to do once you are admitted to UTA College of Liberal Arts Graduate Studies.

• Activate your new MyMav ID and begin checking your email.
• Complete ANY requirements from the Graduate School.
• Purchase a parking permit. There is no free parking on campus. You can purchase your parking permit online. Commuters may also interested in our shuttle system schedule.
• Living off-campus? Consider on-campus living for graduate students. If you are wanting an apartment off campus but unsure about safety of particular areas, visit the Arlington Crime Map and enter a zip code for real-time crime information.
• Review our Academic Integrity and Plagiarism policies. 
• Discover and use the UTA library and subject librarians.
• Download the Graduate Calendar.
• Join the Graduate Student Senate.
