The UT Arlington Library provides several different options for acquiring and delivering research resources to our patrons.
Patrons have the option of using the UT Arlington Interlibrary Loan Online System to obtain research materials from another library, in the event that an item is not owned by the UT Arlington Library. Patrons can request almost any type of research material, except for course textbooks and materials wanted for course Reserve.
Faculty Resource Delivery
UT Arlington Library provides delivery of local library resources to faculty members via the UT Arlington Interlibrary Loan Online System. Access Services staff will retrieve books, bound periodicals, documents, and media held in the UT Arlington Library and deliver them to your campus mail box or campus office, or to your campus email address for any copies 25 pages or less.
Graduate Retrieval Service
UT Arlington Library provides retrieval of local library research resources to graduate students via the Library online catalog. Library staff will retrieve books, bound periodicals, documents, and media held in the UT Arlington Central Library and the Science and Engineering Library and hold them at the respective Circulation desk.
Distance Education and Disability Service
The UT Arlington Library provides free delivery of library resources to Distance Education students, students and faculty with disabilities, and others via the UT Arlington Interlibrary Loan Online System.
