GeoRef is the most comprehensive database in the geosciences. It covers the geology of North America since 1669 and the geology of the rest of the world since 1933. The database contains references to geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports and theses. This database is the equivalent of the Bibliography of North American Geology, Bibliography and Index of Geology Exclusive of North America, Geophysical Abstracts, and Bibliography and Index of Geology. It is the online version of the American Geosciences Institute (formerly American Geological Institute)'s geoscience database.
