William M. Trimble
co-founder of Arlington College
Investing $500 in 1895 to help found Arlington College, Trimble served as both teacher and co-principal. When the school bowed to community pressure and began accepting public school students in 1898, Trimble sold his interest in Arlington College for $1,000.
