Workshops and Tours

Workshops are offered in research techniques and tools, emerging technologies, database searching, GIS, and multimedia. These are offered every semester and can also be requested for a group of 5 or more people.  We are also happy to provde tours of our Library upon request.

Current Workshop Schedule
We offer workshops in research techniques and tools, emerging technologies, database searching, GIS, and multimedia. Examples: RefWorks, Word for Dissertations, Spatial Data, Photoshop, etc.


Multimedia Workshops
Gain introductory hands-on experience with media software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Dreamweaver.


Geographic Information Services (GIS) Workshops
Participate in a hands-on workshop to learn the many benefits of GIS. No registration required.


Customized Instruction Classes
Working with faculty, we offer a variety of customized instruction classes that teach students how to use library resources effectively, how to avoid plagiarism, how to develop their research skills, etc.
