Visual Media Coordinator
The Visual Media Coordinator will creatively showcase the Libraries' diverse and vibrant character in photographs and video across web and social media channels. This position holds the primary responsibility within the team for the acquisition, production, management, and quality oversight of Libraries' promotional videography, photography and other digital assets that complement established departmental priorities. Position also monitors industry best practices, ensures all institutionally created/captured video, photographs and audio are at or above the level of peer institutions whenever possible, and develops new initiatives to further advance the scope, quality and dissemination of Libraries' digital media projects. This role requires someone who works well with others to find creative solutions to meet promotional and communication goals. A passion for visual and social media, life-long learning, storytelling, and working with students, staff, faculty, and the community are vital characteristics for this position.
This position is a 2 year fellowship. The Libraries Programmer is responsible for developing and/or enhancing software which supports existing services or creates new services on behalf of the University Libraries.
